Conversations with Christine Reuther
Why we have to talk about county government when we talk about health care.

Time & Location
Aug 13, 2019, 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM
Home of Janet Reuther, 815 Beechwood Dr, Havertown, PA 19083, USA
About the event
Join us for an evening of refreshments and conversation about mental and behavioral health care and how they affect our community. In Pennsylvania, County governments allocate hundreds of millions in state and federal tax dollars for early childhood development, mental and behavioral health care services, substance abuse disorder treatment, alcohol and tobacco prevention and services for people with physical and cognitive disorders, including dementia. In Delaware County, the state and federal grant money listed in the budget is over $307 million. That does not include County tax dollars or money that flows through our public school districts.
Christine Reuther is a candidate for Delaware County Council. In the fall of 2019 we can elect a county council of people who are not part of the County Republican machine that has controlled the County since the Civil War. Let's talk about what Delaware County is doing now and how it can be done better. This is a chance to make Delco a model moving forward.
